Household Pets, Service Animals & Support Animals
The Garibaldi Company utilizes a third-party verification service to screen household pets.
Residents without a household pet(s) or for those with a service or support animal(s) are still required to complete the pet screening verification, at no charge, to confirm understanding of pet policies.
Household pets are allowed on the premises with the prior written consent of Owner/Agent and must meet the following requirements: the weight of household cats and/or dogs is not to exceed 25 lbs.; maximum of two(2) pets per premises; breed restrictions apply.
Tenant is responsible for the payment of a non-refundable $25.00 pet fee per month, per pet “Pet Rent Fee”. Additional charges may apply for Pet Screening. An additional security deposit of $400 is required for one (1) household pet and a $600 additional security deposit is required for two (2) pets.
Maximum security deposit for the apartment not to exceed two (2) times the monthly base rent amount.
It is the residents' responsibility to understand the state statutes or local ordinances, if any, for criminal offenses and/or penalties for committing assistance animal fraud.
Residents requesting permission to house an assistance animal (service animals or support animals) will have their requests assessed in accordance with federal/state fair housing laws. Assistance animals for persons with disabilities are not considered pets and are exempt from pet policies; however, they do still require prior written approval.
